75th Anniversary Scholarship Recipient: Miriam Intrator

As part of the celebration of ACRL’s 75th Anniversary, we’ve asked the ACRL 75th Anniversary scholarship recipients to describe the impact of attending the ACRL 2015 Conference on their professional life and/or their library.

Intrator, Mriam (534x800)Miriam Intrator is the Special Collections Librarian at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.

“I am very grateful for the scholarship I received. As a librarian relatively new to academic librarianship, attending ACRL was overwhelmingly informative, educational, fun, and most important, highly relevant. In addition to making good connections with other librarians, I was able to bring ideas back to my institution regarding special collections instruction, collaborating with other parts of the library and with faculty, more effectively working with students as employees or as interns, and creating more dynamic and interactive exhibits and digital media.

Thank you.”
