1. Three words to describe your ACRL presidency:  Honest. Dedicated. Compassionate.

2. What is your most enduring memory of your presidential year? The exciting experience of associating with some of the brightest minds in our profession while laboring toward common library objectives.

3. What are you most proud of accomplishing during your presidential year and why? The development, establishment, and acceptance of the ACRL mission statement. This forthright declaration fosters the major goals flowing naturally from this posture.

4. Any advice for future ACRL presidents? Listen carefully to members’ opinions before making decisions and taking action . . . and have fun while serving and maintain a sense of humor.
