LRWG Poster Session Proposal for ALA Submitted

February 1st, 2008

The LRWG poster session proposal for this year’s ALA annual conference in Anaheim was successfully submitted yesterday. We will hear back about whether we were accepted at the end of March. The final proposal is available on the site. Thank you to everyone who chimed in to help us rewrite, reword, and hopefully make our proposal stronger. The final copy may look very different from the last one critiqued, and though we wanted to put it up for one final round of review, we simply ran out of time. We did make a concentrated effort to include everyone’s suggestions. This was truly a collaborative effort! Hopefully we will have more time in the future when we prepare our session proposals for upcoming events.

New Resident Profile Form (beta)

January 7th, 2008

There is a new form available in our Docs Page.  It is a basic information sheet for past and present residents.  If you fill it out and return it to me, I’ll add your information to our Residents Page.  This will help residents and coordinators in other locations get an idea of what other people are up to.  It will also help current students and potential residents get an idea of what we are doing, where we are working, and who we are.

I should also add that this process is mutable.  We can change the form around and add different fields if you would like.   Beginning stages beginning stages.

Feedback is always welcome.  You may comment here or on the list, or send it to me directly.

Cheers.
