		<description><![CDATA[The Syracuse University Library has announced the appointment of two resident librarians, Fantasia Thorne and Tina Chan.
Fantasia Thorne earned her M.L.I.S from Simmons College in 2007, following a B.A. in English Arts from Southern Connecticut State University.  Currently working on an advanced degree in English, she began her service on September 1, 2009.
