  1. Hi Lauren,

I really liked your poster! I do have a question though. In the process section, you mention an “Appointment Discussion Guide.” Is that something that you would be willing to share?

    Thank you,

    Elizabeth

  2. I am a big fan of Zoom for virtual reference; it’s much more personal than many of the more webinar-focused software programs! I have never used a discussion guide during appointments (in person or virtual before). I really like that idea!

    • The discussion guide was actually the idea of my colleagues that they utilized for in-person reference, and I found that it helped keep both the student and me on track. I was happy to find it worked just as well in the virtual setting!

  3. Lauren, this is great! I wondered if Zoom offers the option of recording the sessions, and if you have done that? Have you run into any problems with sharing the recordings?

    • Hi Heidi,

Zoom does offer the option to record sessions, but I did not do that this time around. It is something I’ll consider for the future though!
