On March 20, 2024, the Teaching Methods Committee hosted its annual virtual event, titled “Instruction Strategies to Support Neurodivergent Learners.” Presenter Jacqueline Frank, Instruction & Accessibility Librarian from Montana State University shared techniques and teaching strategies to better support neurodivergent students, including offering content in various formats, seeking feedback from students, and using various technologies.

- Meet with a Librarian (i.e. Research consultations), after picking a date/time the form includes questions for “Do you have pronouns you would like us to use?” and “Please tell us any additional needs or accommodations you may have for this meeting. Please be as specific as possible”
- University of Colorado Boulder also has a great example of a questionnaire with sample questions to ask students at the beginning of the semester, with some questions to consider related to technology and accessibility. They also have a shorter version about technology & accessibility.
