ACRL Election 2022: A Message from the ACRL Vice-President/President-Elect Candidates

The ALA and ACRL elections begin March 14 – April 6, 2022. As candidates standing for ACRL vice-president/president-elect, we encourage you to vote.

Over the past months, we have talked with individual ACRL members and met together with many ACRL committees/sections.  We have heard your hopes for ACRL and your concerns regarding the challenging issues facing our field, ACRL, and ALA. The ACRL board continues its focus on equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging, issues also of concern to the two of us.

We have heard from members sharing concerns faced these past few years related to the global pandemic.  Additionally, what has transferred from your feedback, is the well-being of our colleagues as academic librarians and individuals during these evolving times.

Your vote helps to shape the direction for ACRL and its membership.  Thank you for taking the time to vote and for your dedication to ACRL, our professional organization.

Please vote!
