Scholarship applications to attend ACRL 2023 are being accepted through Friday, October 14. ACRL is again offering four Spectrum Scholar Travel Grants consisting of complimentary advanced early bird registration (a value of $99–$549 depending on membership type) and a travel stipend of up to $600 for the ACRL 2023 Conference to be held March 15-18, in Pittsburgh, PA.
ACRL’s Travel Grants provide opportunities for Spectrum Scholars to participate in ACRL professional development activities at the conference, to expand their network of colleagues, and to have face-to-face time to build new—or strengthen existing—relationships with their mentors, for those Scholars participating in the ACRL Dr. E.J. Josey Spectrum Scholar Mentor Program.
Travel grant applicants must be:
- A current or past recipient of an ALA Spectrum Scholarship.
- A current library school student with an interest in academic libraries.
Previous recipients of this ACRL conference scholarship are not eligible.
Complete details and the link to apply are available on the Travel Grant page on the ACRL 2023 website. For more information about ACRL 2023, contact Tory Ondrla at tondrla@ala.org.
