ARL Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility in Libraries & Archives (IDEAL) Conference Registration, Scholarship Opportunities

ACRL is proud to be a friend of the Association of Research Libraries (ARL) 2024 Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility in Libraries & Archives (IDEAL) Conference, to be held July 15–17, 2024, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The 2024 conference theme is Sustainable Resistance and Restoration in Global Communities. Participants have the opportunity to choose from more than 90 sessions across 10 tracks, learn from dynamic keynote speakers and 185 presenters, and acquire new knowledge, skills, attitudes, and awareness about how to sustain diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and justice (DEIAJ) efforts across the field.

Registration includes: Breakfast, Lunch and an afternoon Energizer each day, and a Reception Tuesday evening, July 16 (details subject to change).

Additionally, ARL is pleased to share that a limited pool of scholarship funds is available to support costs associated with attending IDEAL 2024. Scholarships can cover the cost of registration and/or lodging. Any individual planning to attend the 2024 IDEAL Conference is welcome to apply for funding. To be considered, please submit a request via the Scholarship Assistance Form by Monday, February 19, 2024. Completion of the form does not guarantee a scholarship will be granted.
