ArtsGuide to Chicago

The ACRL Arts Section ArtsGuide to Chicago is now available. The Arts Section has been producing this excellent guide to arts, entertainment, and culture for each ALA Conference host city since 2007. The ArtsGuide to Chicago is a selective guide to arts activities taking place during the conference.  Some of the venues and hosting organizations are well”known, while others are more off”the”beaten path.  Some of Chicago’s most interesting arts venues are a short walk or train ride from the convention center and conference hotels, and are highlighted in the guide. The ArtsGuide is your one stop shop for all of the exciting cultural activities available to attendees of the 2009 ALA Annual Conference.

The ArtsGuide to Chicago is edited by Marc Gartler (Harrington College of Design) with contributing editors Alexis Burson (DePaul University), Laurie Chipps (Art Institute of Chicago), Heather Jagman (DePaul University), Lindsay King (Northwestern University), and Megan Macken (University of Chicago).
