Call for Peer Reviewers – ACRL/ Choice Core Subject Collections

RCL logoResources for College Libraries (RCL), a copublication of ACRL/Choice and ProQuest, invites academic librarians and faculty to participate as peer reviewers. RCL provides a list of core titles that are essential for undergraduate libraries and is available online. This is a great opportunity to share and refresh your disciplinary knowledge while contributing to the development of the core subject literature!

We are currently seeking knowledgeable and practicing selectors in the social sciences and science and technology subjects, including:

Agriculture  ::  Anthropology  ::  Astronomy  ::  Biology  ::  Business Administration  ::  Chemistry  ::  Computer Science  ::  Economics  ::  Education  ::  Environmental Sciences  ::  General Science  ::  Geography  ::  Geology  ::  Health Sciences and Medicine  ::  Journalism and Communication  ::  Law  ::  Mathematics  ::  Physics  ::  Political Science  ::  Psychology  ::  Sociology  ::  Sports and Recreation  ::  Technology and Engineering

Referees will be responsible for comprehensively evaluating the RCL subject’s bibliographic content, along with its taxonomic organization. . Please consider submitting your name to participate in this one-time professional service. To volunteer as a reviewer or learn more, contact Anne Doherty (adoherty@ala-choice.org) with a brief description of your qualifications, particularly any experience maintaining or assessing core collections in the subject, along with a CV/resume. The volunteer deadline is June 10, 2016. All referee work is scheduled for completion by August 15, 2016
