Celebrate Community College Month with ACRL!

April is Community College Month, a great opportunity to get the word out about why community colleges matter, how your college is serving your community’s needs today, and why public support for community colleges is more important than ever. Celebrate these “Best Decisions Ever” with ACRL’s resources and publications.

The Community College Library Book Series

Community college librarians are engaged in meaningful work designing and delivering library programs and services that meet the needs of their diverse populations and support student learning. ACRL’s “The Community College Library” series is meant to lift the voices of community college librarians and highlight their creativity, tenacity, and commitment to students.

Project Outcome for Academic Libraries

Project Outcome is a free toolkit that helps libraries measure four key learning outcomes—knowledge, confidence, application, and awareness—across seven library program and service areas. The survey topics cover: Instruction, Events/Programs, Research, Teaching Support, Digital & Special Collections, Space, and Library Technology. The toolkit provides academic libraries of any size the means to easily measure outcomes and use that data as the basis for improvements and advocacy.
