Fostering Change for Academic Library Leaders, Pre-Cohort Survey and Webcast

The new ACRL Fostering Change for Academic Library Leaders program is a virtual, nine-week cohort that aims to build a community of inclusive leaders and change agents in academic libraries. Participants are encouraged from every level of positional authority and at any career stage: those of you who are in or want to move into formal leadership or management roles, who want to grow professionally, who are or work for interim leaders, and all those seeking effective strategies for and community in meeting the evolving needs of our campuses. Registration for the cohort will open in March 2025, and it will run from the weeks of May 26 through July 21, 2025.

Facilitators Cinthya Ippoliti, University Librarian and Director of the Auraria Library at University of Colorado Denver, and Brianna Marshall, Interim Dean of the Library at Northern Kentucky University, want to hear from you about your most pressing leadership and change needs and the skills and support you want. Please complete this 5-question survey by Friday, March 14, 2025.

To hear the results of the pre-cohort survey and how the program will provide practical strategies for working with change stakeholders and cultivating leadership capacity, join the facilitators for the free ACRL Presents webcast Fostering Change for Academic Libraries from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Central on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.
