I hope you’ll celebrate with ACRL members Lisa Janicke Hinchliffe and Roberta Stevens, as they are inaugurated at the ALA Inaugural Banquet concluding the 2010 Annual Conference in Washington D.C. Lisa will be inaugurated as ACRL President; Roberta will be inaugurated ALA President.
In the coming year, ACRL’s strong community of leaders will be embarking on a new strategic planning process and developing an exciting, innovative 2011 National Conference experience in Philadelphia. This event is a wonderful opportunity for fellowship while celebrating the beginning of new ALA and Divisional Presidential terms. I hope that you plan to attend and, with our ALA community, enjoy dinner, dancing, and a brief program.
The Inaugural Banquet will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the Grand Hyatt Hotel located at 1000 H Street Northwest in Washington, DC. Tickets are available at $89 in advance and onsite. Advanced ticket purchase is required for ACRL table reservations.
