LAST CALL! ACRL 2023 Proposals, Scholarship Applications Due October 14

Lightning talk, poster session, roundtable discussion, and virtual presentation proposals for the ACRL 2023 Conference are due Friday, October 14, 2022. Higher education has changed dramatically over the last few years. Academic libraries are addressing an increased emphasis on remote learning, rising calls for social justice, and an acknowledged need for flexibility that supports a sustainable work-life balance. At ACRL 2023, to be held March 15-18, 2023, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, you’ll explore these issues and more around the theme of “Forging the Future.” Submit proposals via the online form available on the conference website.

ACRL anticipates providing over $115,000 in scholarship funding for the ACRL 2023 Conference. Scholarships are available for early-career librarians, mid-career librarians,
career librarians, library school students and recent graduates (seeking employment in a librarian role), library professional and support staff (non-MLIS), and ALA Spectrum Scholars. Scholarships typically include complimentary in-person or virtual registration plus an additional travel stipend of $400 – $600. Scholarship applications to attend the conference are also due on Friday, October 14.
