Please vote in the ALA/ACRL elections by April 24th!

The deadline for voting is fast approaching. It just takes a few minutes and we need to vote ourselves and encourage others to vote.

Typically academic librarians don’t vote, but we need to turn that around this year and every year. Why? Although I have usually voted throughout my many years in ALA, I see now, more than ever, how important our association is and how critical we are in the process of shaping both federal and state legislative issues. That being said, we need to make sure that our leaders can articulate our academic and higher education needs clearly and quickly no matter what the forum or venue.

More information on the election is available on the ACRL website and the ALA election page.
