RBMS 2024 is coming up June 25-28, 2024, in Costa Mesa, California, and virtually. The conference will explore how we can leverage the last three years to shape an even brighter, more inclusive future for rare book and manuscript libraries.
We invite you to share your knowledge and experiences at RBMS 2024. In the heart of southern California, Costa Mesa is known as the City of the Arts and is just minutes away from beaches, dining, and nearby attractions.
The Call for Proposals for in-person or virtual presentations is now available. RBMS 2024 features six session formats, offering speakers the option of presenting in-person in Costa Mesa or virtually from their own location.
Potential proposal topics might include (but are not limited to):
- Lessons learned during the pandemic to continue moving forward (new tools, communities, initiatives)
- Building more inclusive work environments
- Engaging the community through programming, archiving, or other activities
The proposal deadline is earlier this year, December 15, 2023, and complete details are available on the conference website.
