We’ve asked the ACRL 2017 Conference scholarship recipients to describe the impact of attending the ACRL 2017 Conference on their professional life and/or their library.
Caro Pinto is a librarian and instructional technology liaison at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, MA.
“Attending ACRL 2017 was hugely beneficial to me; it was an extraordinary opportunity to attend meaningful sessions and connect with close colleagues from around the United States, but it also represented a chance for me to broaden my participation in ACRL and attending the conference in person facilitated important conversations towards that goal as I shift into a new phase of my career. Finally, attending the scholarship breakfast represented a highlight for me; it was a unique opportunity to connect with new colleagues from different career phases and forge new connections. I am honored to be among the 2017 Mid-Career winners.”
