A new journal, the Journal of Data Mining and Digital Humanities (JDMDH), recently published its inaugural issue. JDMDH is an open access peer-reviewed quarterly journal “concerned with the intersection of computing and the disciplines of the humanities, with tools provided by computing such as data visualisation, information retrieval, statistics, text mining by publishing scholarly work beyond the traditional humanities.” The journal is a joint project of CNRS (French National Centre for Scientific Research), INRA (French National Institute for Agricultural Research), and INRIA (French Institute for Research in Computer Science and Automation).
