Spring 2024 Author Forum

Please join ACRL’s Distance and Online Learning Section (DOLS) Research and Publications Committee Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 2 PM ET/1 PM CT/12 PM MT/11 AM PT for a conversation with Dr. Kirsten Hostetler, the Instruction and Outreach Faculty Librarian at Central Oregon Community College.

In January 2022, her article “Understanding academic librarians’ one-shot instructional design process via a Delphi study,” co-authored with Tian Luo, was published in the Journal of Academic Librarianship. It was so thoughtful, we featured it in our January 2023 Top 5 Articles on Instructional Design in Library Instruction post. The author will begin with a brief presentation connecting common teaching librarian practices to instructional design principles before sharing survey results from 25 participants on their MLIS, teaching, instructional design, and professional development histories and preferences. Then, she’ll invite questions from participants. It’s sure to be a fun time, so bring your questions and join us in this discussion!

Please register in advance via Zoom to attend this Author Forum.
