- 5-minute presentation by each vendor of their current and future offers and politics in terms of e-resources, particularly e-book sales; summary of the existing trends for e-publishing in respective countries and principal language(s).
- Panel Topics to Be Discussed with Vendors
- Existing e-publishing models: Open Access; Academic Publishing; Trade Publishing, etc; the most important characteristics of the e-publishing market in respective countries.
- Vendors’ relationship with publishers, book sellers and other entities; as well as their relationships with North American Academic Libraries.
- Standards in licensing of electronic resources, long term preservation and perpetual access.
- Acquisition models of e-resources: patron driven acquisition approval plans; consortial agreements; collaborative collection development models and others.
- Access to e-resources and platform functionality: the most important challenges and limitations versus expectations of U.S. North American Libraries.
- Challenges and opportunities of digitization at national and commercial levels.
