Agenda

I. Visit to the Scandinavian Cultural Center, Newton, MA

  • We will be visiting the The Scandinavian Cultural Center in Newton, MA, which is “a destination and resource for the exploration of traditional and contemporary Nordic culture and complementary cultural experiences.”
  • The Center boasts a large Nordic Hall for performances and exhibits, a Scandinavian Library, and a Kaffestugan.
  • If you are interested in attending, please contact Paula Carns at pcarns@illinois.edu.
  • We will meet at the South Station at 12:15 to take the 12:40 Framingham/Worcester Line Outbound to Newtonville.
    • Once at Newtonville, we will either walk the mile to the Center or take a cab.
    • To return to Boston, we will take the Framingham/Worcester Line Inbound at 3:41.
