European Links: Sources of Information in Western European Studies for Academic Libraries

If so, the 1997 WESS preconference in San Francisco will be just right for you at the preconference, “European links: sources of information in western European studies for academic libraries,” you will learn from experienced librarians about:

  • publishing trends in western Europe
  • new trends in acquisitions and cataloguing bibliographic and reviewing sources
  • reference sources
  • vendor services
    • in the Francophone countries
    • the German-speaking countries
    • the Iberian peninsula
    • Italy
    • Scandinavia

Each session will last one and one-half hours. There will also be an opportunity to meet with experienced bibliographers and vendors.

The conference will begin on the evening of June 26 with a reception and keynote address, followed by a full day of workshops on June 27.
