European Links: Sources of Information in Western European Studies for Academic Libraries

If so, the 1997 WESS preconference in San Francisco will be just right for you at the preconference, “European links: sources of information in western European studies for academic libraries,” you will learn from experienced librarians about:
- publishing trends in western Europe
- new trends in acquisitions and cataloguing bibliographic and reviewing sources
- reference sources
- vendor services
- in the Francophone countries
- the German-speaking countries
- the Iberian peninsula
- Italy
- Scandinavia
Each session will last one and one-half hours. There will also be an opportunity to meet with experienced bibliographers and vendors.
The conference will begin on the evening of June 26 with a reception and keynote address, followed by a full day of workshops on June 27.
