Pauline A. Young Residency now accepting apps

The Pauline A. Young Residency at the University of Delaware is now accepting applications.  This is a two-year appointment and will feature work in the Student Multimedia Design Center, a state-of-the-art multimedia facility.   The resident will assist with teaching multimedia/GIS workshops, staff training, and development of multimedia products such as training videos and tutorials.  Other responsibilities will include creating content for electronic kiosks, assisting in updating the website, and staffing the public service desk.

Qualified applicants will be recent graduates from an ALA-accredited program, have previous public service experience, and interest in multimedia technologies and instruction.  They will also have strong written and oral communication skills and an ability to work both independently and with colleagues and library users from diverse backgrounds.  Members of underrepresented racial and ethnic groups are encouraged to apply.
