Position Opening: Librarian in Residence at Bowling Green State University

The University Libraries (UL) at Bowling Green State University (BGSU) as a member of the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) Diversity Alliance, invites applicants for its ACRL Diversity Resident Program.  This is a three-year non-renewable library residency position at the rank of Instructor (Non Tenure Track Faculty). The goal of this program is to provide opportunities and guidance for early-career librarians from diverse groups.  BGSU Libraries realizes that in order to invest in the diversification of our profession, we need to share the responsibility for diversity and inclusion.

Residents will gain experience in their chosen area of librarianship, while building strengths in multiple areas of librarianship.  By the conclusion of this residency program participants will have gained the knowledge, skills and experience needed to secure a position in any academic library.
