We’re coming to an ALA near you! Or, perhaps not actually near you, but ALA Anaheim nonetheless. We’re delighted to be presenting a panel all about residencies this month in Anaheim. The panel specifically focuses on how residencies are putting libraries at the forefront of diversity initiatives and innovation. Attendees will gain a greater understanding of what residencies are, how they function and how to gain support and start one on your campus.
The panel will feature a resident that has just completed her tenure, a past resident, a coordinator and a library dean that saw the benefit and brought residencies to her campus. Each will be presenting briefly on the innovative or unique nature of their residency program and how they have directly and/or indirectly influenced ALA diversity initiatives. To read more about our individual panelists visit the RIG Panel at ALA 2012 page.
