The December 2007 issue of C&RL News is now online and in the mail. Two articles this month focus on the challenges and opportunities of library renovations. Stephanie J. Graves details her experience providing instructional services outside the library as a “Homeless instruction librarian” during a renovation project at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. Renovations also provide an opportunity for reflection on services and philosophies.
