ACRL is pleased to announce two new publications: Library 2.0 Initiatives in Academic Libraries edited by Laura B. Cohen (The University at Albany) and Information Literacy Programs in the Digital Age: Educating Students Online edited by Alice Daugherty and Michael F. Russo (Louisiana State University).
Library 2.0 Initiatives in Academic Libraries is ACRL’s first experiment with a hybrid publication. Using 12 cases ranging from simple and direct to highly sophisticated, this book is available in print from the ALA Online Store and it also has a related wiki where the authors of the case studies will update the cases on a running basis for a minimum of two years.
Information Literacy Programs in the Digital Age: Educating Students Online is a compendium of 24 cases describing how many institutions are meeting the challenge of providing information literacy instruction via online methods.
These two books will be available at the ALA Bookstore at the ALA Midwinter Meeting in Philadelphia or via the ALA Online Store. Get your copies now!
